Buffalo Plaid Pumpkins

Lately, we’ve been seeing the cutest buffalo plaid pumpkins in beautiful fall displays. The displays have fall foliage, flowers, ribbons and pumpkins of all different colors of buffalo plaid prints. After looking for these pumpkins in the marketplace a question arose, what is the difference between buffalo plaid and regular check pattern? Here is what we found. Buffalo plaid, also known as buffalo check or gingham, has subtle differences and is a type of design that’s a large square check pattern made of horizontal and vertical stripes. Check patterns are a type of pattern that usually has only two colors, while plaid patterns have 3 or multiple colors.

Painting intricate styles takes patience. We found that painting a preformed pumpkin is a bit easier and will give you more of a finished look. However, real pumpkins are typically less expensive and do have a lot of individual personality.
If you’re not into painting pumpkins or just do not have the time, here are some ideas for decorating with pumpkins that take little time and talent. Get creative and mostly have fun! There are designs that fit everyone’s style and decor.
