Italian glass artisans on the island of Murano form these one-of-a-kind art glass items. These amber and blue filigree glass pleated bowls are spun in a centrifuge and fused for perfect pleating. The shapes of these pieces are made after the glass stops spinning and the artisans begin to shape, mold, cut, and reheat the glass pieces into the shapes you see here. After a long annealing process, the glass is cool, stable, and able to be packed and prepared to ship.
